The KitchenAid 11lb Glass surface kitchen scale features an attractive, stainless steel accent trim and an oversized knob to set units of measurement, making it a suitable match for many kitchen decors. This sleek scale boasts a glass surface that is naturally stain and odor free, and is tempered for safety. The large 1.0" Backlit readout ensures easy readability.

An add and weigh Tare function enables users to zero out the weights of containers before adding food or weighing multiple ingredients together, providing convenient dry and liquid measurement conversions. The maximum capacity for dry ingredients is 11 LB X 0.1 Oz and 5000 grams x 1 gram, while for liquid ingredients, it is 5000 millilitres x 1 millilitre and 176 FL Oz x 0.1 FL Oz.

The unique rotating knob design, inspired by KitchenAid countertop electric ovens, allows users to twist to set the units of measurement and push to Tare or power on/off. The Tare feature enables weighing all ingredients into one container by zeroing out weights in-between additions, as well as zeroing the weight of any container before adding food.

The scale is powered by three (3) AAA batteries, included, and can be powered off, with an auto shut-off feature after 3 minutes of no change in weight on the platform. For easy cleaning, the scale should be hand-washed only, without immersion in water or dishwasher use. The best cleaning method is to wipe the scale with a damp cloth and thoroughly dry it.
